Frequently Asked Questions

Explore comprehensive answers, technical specifications, and helpful guidance for processing your documents.

How does the tool pick the palette colors from my image?

It samples pixel colors from a grid of points across your image, removes near-duplicate colors, then sorts and adjusts the result by saturation and lightness to produce a clean, representative palette.

Will it work well on near-monochromatic or low-contrast images?

It will still produce a palette, but since sampling is grid-based rather than a full pixel scan, very subtle gradients or low-variation images may return a less nuanced set of colors than a high-contrast image would.

Can I exclude specific regions of the image from the color analysis?

Not currently — the tool samples across the whole image. Cropping to your area of interest before uploading is the best way to control which part of the image influences the palette.
