Frequently Asked Questions
Explore comprehensive answers, technical specifications, and helpful guidance for processing your documents.
Can I generate print-ready labels with this studio?
Yes. You can export your design as a scalable SVG vector file, or use your browser's native print dialog (via the 'Direct Sheet Print' button) to save a PDF with your bleed and safe-zone guides visible.
Does this layout editor support bulk spreadsheet generation?
Yes. Navigate to our 'Variable Data Printing (VDP)' tab, paste a comma-separated CSV list, and click 'Map Records'. Each row becomes its own preview, and the 'Download ZIP' button exports a real ZIP archive containing one SVG file per record, named after its SKU.
Do the barcode and QR elements in this studio actually scan?
Yes. Barcode elements use real, checksum-verified Code-128, EAN-13, UPC-A, or ITF encoding, and QR elements use a standard QR code library โ both are genuinely scannable once exported or printed.
Is my label data uploaded to any servers?
No. All layout editing, dieline calculations, and exports run entirely in your browser โ nothing is uploaded, and there's no registration required.
How does the prepress CMYK printing simulation mode work?
Toggling CMYK Color Gamut Mode converts your label's colors through a real subtractive RGB-to-CMYK-to-print approximation, so bright screen colors that fall outside the printable ink gamut appear muted, similar to how they'd look on a physical print.
