Frequently Asked Questions
Explore comprehensive answers, technical specifications, and helpful guidance for compressing and optimizing your documents.
Which countries sizes are supported?
US passports use the 2x2 inch (51x51 mm) print with head height between 1 and 1 3/8 inches, while EU and UK passports follow the 35x45 mm ICAO template. Both presets are built in, and each scales your aligned crop to the exact millimeter print standard.
How do i align my head correctly?
Place your eyes on the blue guide line, your chin on the lower red line, and the top of your head near the upper red line. The passport template enforces roughly 50% head height within the frame, then a live preview shows the final 2x2 or 35x45 crop before you export.
How should i print the final PDF?
Open the generated sheet and print it on glossy or matte photo paper at 100% scale with fit-to-page disabled, so each 2x2 inch cell keeps its physical size. The cut marks let you trim with scissors or a paper guillotine to exact government dimensions.
