Supplemental Terms: Extensions & Labs
These Supplemental Terms govern your use of specialized browser extensions provided by Utilvo (including Utilvo Shield, TokenGuard, and PhishBuster) as well as experimental features in Utilvo Labs.
1. Integration with Master Terms
These Supplemental Terms supplement the Utilvo Master Terms of Service. In the event of any direct conflict between these Supplemental Terms and the Master Terms, these Supplemental Terms shall control regarding your use of browser extensions and Labs utilities.
2. Browser Extension Privacy & Local Permissions
Utilvo offers browser extensions designed to augment your web security and productivity:
- Utilvo Shield & PhishBuster: Inspects navigation URLs against on-device heuristics to detect deceptive phishing portals. Analysis is performed strictly in-browser without relaying your complete browsing history to remote telemetry servers.
- Utilvo TokenGuard: Scans web session storage for exposed authorization tokens or secret keys. Token analysis executes locally using client-side Web Workers.
- Permission Minimization: All extension manifests request the minimum viable permissions required to inspect DOM elements or intercept malicious network requests locally.
3. Utilvo Labs & Experimental Features
Tools designated under Utilvo Labs represent experimental, bleeding-edge utilities (such as experimental neural vectorizers, WebGPU shaders, and emerging audio codecs):
- Labs tools are provided for testing and evaluation purposes.
- Features in Labs may undergo rapid algorithmic changes, interface updates, or retirement based on web standards evolution.
- Hardware acceleration requirements (e.g. WebGPU availability) may differ from our general stable tool suite.
4. Sandbox Execution Environments
When testing code snippets or formatting untrusted data payloads within our Developer Tools or Sandbox environments, all execution is sandboxed within an unprivileged browser iframe. You acknowledge that you remain responsible for any code you execute locally.
