How to Set and Control the Online Timer
This browser-based timer opens pre-loaded at 05:00 so you can start a 5-minute session with a single click or keystroke. Every timing calculation, progress ring update, and audio signal executes locally inside your browser tab with zero server requests.
- Pick a preset or enter custom time: Click any quick-preset chip (1m, 3m, 5m, 10m, 15m, 30m, 45m, 1h) or enter exact Hours (0–99), Minutes (0–59), and Seconds (0–59) and click Apply Custom Time.
- Select and test your alert tone: Choose from 5 built-in Web Audio synthesizer profiles (Classic, Gentle, Digital, Bell, or Silent), adjust the volume percentage slider, and click Test Sound to preview the volume level.
- Start, extend, or go fullscreen: Press Start (or hit Space). Use +1 Min or +5 Min at any time to extend an active run without losing progress.
